Training Institute
Watsu Italia is a training institute founded in 2000 that has since been dedicated to promoting and disseminating WATSU® — the first form of aquatic bodywork — in Italy and worldwide.
At that time, a group of Instructors trained directly with Harold Dull, united by deep love and passion for WATSU®, came together to establish the Watsu Italia Association. Their goal was to create a training programme more aligned with the European sensibility — an autonomous pathway that is nevertheless officially recognised by W.A.B.A. International, the global organisation promoting WATSU®.
Over the years, Watsu Italia has trained dozens of professional practitioners and actively promoted the discipline through the organisation of events, editorial publications, audiovisual materials, and press contributions.
In 2023, Watsu Italia was officially recognised as a Counseling School by S.I.Co. (Italian Counseling Association) — a milestone that represents a further opportunity to enhance the value and professional standing of the WATSU® Practitioner. Watsu Italia was also among the first training institutes to distinguish itself for its strong team-based approach, including at an international level.
