Counseling skills consist of a set of core competencies and relational abilities that support professionals in the effective practice of their work. They are essential for anyone who works in close contact with people, as they enable the creation of positive relationships, the resolution of conflicts, and the promotion of personal growth.
To acquire these skills, the training pathway consists of a total of 72 hours, including 40 hours of theoretical training and 32 hours of supervised practical experience, completed over a period of six months.
Attendance at selected modules of the WATSU® Counseling Training Programme may be recognised as a valid pathway for acquiring Counseling skills. In addition, other single-topic seminars focused on Counseling skills will be offered.
